• The building consists of multiple floors of classrooms for trade such as : Electrical install , plumbing, joinery, brick laying, electrical testing and gas testing. 

• Technical bays, classrooms, workshops and office spaces.

• Monitored Systems, electric, water ,gas and heat meters.

• All major HVAC equipment including air source heat pumps, air handlers, heating and chilled water systems, pump sets, and full building automation systems.

• Full on line and remote BMS system and a front-end graphics package in the works department to match up with all the other buildings on the central supervisor.

This project involved the delivery of a comprehensive Building Management System (BMS) and electrical controls package for a multi-storey training facility designed to support a wide range of vocational trades.

The facility comprises several floors of dedicated teaching spaces, including:

• Classrooms for trades such as electrical installation, plumbing, joinery, bricklaying, electrical testing, and gas testing.

• Technical bays, workshops, and office spaces to support practical learning and administration

• Utility monitoring: Advanced metering for electricity, water, gas, and heat consumption, enabling detailed usage analysis and optimisation

• HVAC systems: Integrated control of all major HVAC plant, including:

  • Air source heat pumps

  • Air handling units

  • Heating and chilled water systems

  • Pump sets

  • Full building automation for climate control and energy efficiency

• BMS platform: A fully online, remotely accessible BMS system with a dedicated front-end graphics interface installed in the Works Department — aligned with the existing central supervisory platform used across the wider estate for seamless monitoring and control
